When we came to Ukraine we promised ourselves to take part in cultural life of Donetsk. Yeah, we've promised. Apart from few visits in IZOLYATSIA, two concerts and one official ceremony we haven't been anywhere. Comparing to my cultural activities in Poland it's nothing. During our stay in Motherland I made a to-do-list and one of the points was "going to the cinema for Russian-speaking movie". We decided to watch stupid comedy to make sure we'll understand something (in my case - anything).

Ukrainian drinking culture

I've noticed in Ukraine that they have a lot of traditions, some of them are related to drinking (alcohol, not tea). Together with Magda and Vitalik we prepered a list of some rules you should follow when you drink in Ukraine or with Ukrainian people (even if it takes place in Lębork). Someone should write a handbook about it*. It could be useful.

Almost makes a great difference

Something weird happened to me yesterday.

I was on the train from Warsaw to Toruń, in one compartment with a couple, their 5-years old daughter (they were going back home from Rome) and one guy in his thirties (going back home from Crimea, where his parents-in-law live). As always, I had headphones in my ears, listening to music. But from time to time,  some pieces of conversation my fellow passengers had were coming to my ears. What did I hear? "Ukraine", "train", "Wrocław to Lviv". Great! I tried to find some information about this train (mainly about the price), but there's nothing about it on the webpage of Intercity ("za beznadziejną stronę internetową, przepraszaaaaamy!"), so I decided to take part in this conversation.

Польша (czyt. Polsza)

Znowu jestem w Polsce. Na trochę dłużej niż zamierzałam. Co nie oznacza, że będę siedzieć w domu przez cały ten czas. Na razie udało mi się tam spędzić tylko dwa dni, w dodatku niecałe. Niestety w związku z brakiem środków do życia będę zmuszona wkrótce tam wrócić i czekać na zbawienie, czyli na wizę. Mam nadzieję, że w międzyczasie nie wpadnę w depresję...

Ukraińskie dziewczęta

Z racji tego, że nadaję z Polski, będzie dziś po polsku. Poza tym, swojej irytacji nie jestem w stanie wyrazić w żadnym innym języku¹.

Zastanawiałam się jak ugryść ten temat i doszłam do wniosku, że zacznę od... cyferek. A co mi tam!
